This is a journey, or more precisely a vision. After working for three years with electronic gears, elaborating tinkered paths to a music we did not really know, we come back to the thrill of our teenage years. Even playing on a familiar setup (some drums, a guitar, pedals, an analog bass machine & a soundsystem), it sounds like the path is getting more blurry. A vision, I said. Timeless explorations, freed from drum’s structures, but not from Rythm. Modulations, wrecks, games : there are still loops here, but each of them is different. Improvisation maybe, or "improvision" : you do not get what the hell you're listening to, we don’t either. This is children’s music, trying to free the forms that have always been free.
"C'est Loisir !" (literaly: "It's Leasure!") is a dark & powerful strip cartoon from french artist Jean-Marc Toulassi. It provides to this object its title & its artwork but also something more: a position "against" to be "together", a formal explosion looking for a reinvention of the world, once again.
